Call to Order

ASUAF Special Senate Meeting 174-O was called to order Monday, May 31st 2010 at 6:20PM in Reichardt room 300 by Senate Chair Ryan Duffy.

Roll Call

Present were Senators Duffy, White, Currey, Farrell, Cooper, Grzeskowiak-Amezquita, and Martin.
Unexcused were Senators Bole, Cunningham, Helms, Cervin, and Brown.

The ASUAF senate was called to order at 4:11 PM on Sunday, May 9nd 2010 by Senate Chair Senator Ryan Duffy in the Alumni Lounge of Constitution Hall. The ASUAF President Todd Vorisek, Vice President Leonard, Recylcing Director Ryan Good, and Government Relations Director Nicole Carvajal were also present.

Michelle Bartlett- she really appreciated the amount of money that ASUAF allocated so far, but she'd like us to consider giving more. The total bill for the summer Sun Star will be $22,000, and summer sessions is covering $15,000 of that. A senator suggested selling subscriptions for those that don't live in Fairbanks.

Morgan Simpson- recently brought an instructor to Fairbanks to start a school. In the process, the club went into debt to one of their club members, and they would like ASUAF to help them get out of their debt of $400.

Call to Order

The ASUAF senate was called to order at 4:01 PM by Senate Chair Senator Ryan Duffy in the Alumni Lounge of Constitution Hall. Sustainability Director Michael Golub was also present.

Roll Call

Present were Senators Caulfield, Brown, Currey, Cervin, Duffy, Freitag, Cunningham, Cooper, Martin, Farrell, and White.

Tardy was Senator Grzeskowiak-Amezquita (4:03PM)

Excused was Senator Helms.

Approval of Minutes

174-H- Senator Farrell motioned to amend the minutes to remove the call for quorum. Senator Martin seconded the motion, with no objection the minutes are so amended. Senator Freitag motioned to adopt the minutes, senator White seconded the motion. With no objection, the minutes are approved.

Jamal Brown to Parking Committee- Senator Farrell motioned to expedite, Senator Cooper seconded the motion. With no objection, his appointment is expedited.

The ASUAF senate was called to order at 4:01 PM, March 21st in the Alumni Lounge in Constitution Hall by Senate Chair Senator Ryan Duffy. Also Present was Government Relations Director Nicole Carvajal

Present were Senators Caulfield, Bole, Currey, Brown, Cervin, Duffy, Meyers, Freitag, Cunningham, Martin, Grzeskowiak-Amezquita (via teleconference), Farrell, and Helms.

Election of Senate Chair

Senator Martin nominated Senator Freitag, she accepts the nomination. Senator Farrell nominated Senator Duffy, he accepts the nomination. With a vote of 5 for Senator Duffy and 4 for Senator Freitag. Senator Duffy is the new Senate Chair.
