Whereas, We the student Senators of ASUAF have taken an oath to protect the rights of the students’ and all of the students interests;

Whereas, House Resolution 4789 would negatively affect the student run media KSUA

Whereas, We the Student Senators are opposed to this and would like to show our support for the Local Radio Freedom Act that would protect KSUA; and

Whereas, It would in the best interests of the ASUAF Senate to start an ad campaign to foster the growth of support and awareness on the UAF campus; now therefore be it

Enacted, That the Student Affairs and Public Relations Committees work together with KSUA to create an ad campaign that will raise awareness of the Local Radio Freedom act and the good it does for the student interests that we as senators have taken an oath to protect on the UAF Campus.

To start an ad campaign to raise awareness of the Local Radio Freedom act and to support the interests of the student body.
